General Requirements

King University, King’s University, offers non-competitive admission. If you meet these entry requirements, you can expect to be admitted to King’s.

Generally speaking, students are admitted by the following criteria:

  • Successful completion of English 30-1 or an equivalent
  • Three courses have to be standard grade 12 courses.
  • A second standard or non-standard grade 12 course
  • A grade that is 60% or more

Who Is Eligible for The Application

  • Current and international students.
  • Students in the future who receive partial admission to King’s until March 31.
  • To qualify for bursaries, students must plan to take a minimum of nine credits per term.
  • To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be able to plan 12 credits in a term to qualify for scholarships. Students must be registered for nine credits to be eligible for bursaries.

What Are the Awards Offered by King’s?

  • Our awards include competitive bursaries (awards based on financial needs) and scholarships (awards per academic achievements) for full-time students who have been accepted into the next school year.
  • Awards range from $500 to $3,000.

When will I receive my award?

  • King’s will notify students in May when they’ve been awarded an award. Students must have enrolled for the fall semester and accepted the award before June 15 to be eligible to receive the award.
  • The award funds are released 50% of the time in the autumn term (typically in September) and 50% during the winter (typically the month of January). King’s award funds are applied to outstanding fees and tuition if appropriate.
