BSc (Hons)NURSING (ADULT) WITH NMC REGISTRATION

If you’re a person with a passion for providing services to others and would like to improve the lives of others and lives, then an adult nursing career might be the ideal choice for you. You’ll be taught by our skilled instructors and technicians, using the latest simulation facilities, as well as the opportunity to work on clinical assignments.

This combination of practice and theory will help you give safe, caring healthcare and develop into a competent nurse. Once you’ve completed the degree, you’ll become qualified to apply for admission to the Nursing & Midwifery Council.

Eligibility Requirement For Buckinghamshire New University Nursing Undergraduate Scholarship

An average offer requires the UCAS Tarif score that is 112 – 133.6

The required requirements to take this Nursing Undergraduate Scholarship:

  • A-level with grades of BBC or higher
  • BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma at DMM
  • International Baccalaureate at 30 points
  • FETAC / QQI 5 Distinctions in healthcare-related subjects
  • access to the HE Diploma for Nursing qualifications (Minimum 60 credits in total, including 12 merits and 30 distinctions at level 3 and 15 credits at Level 2 when you pass)

Additionally, you will need five GCSEs that include Mathematics, English, and Science at grade 4 or higher (or equivalent).

Relevant experience

All applicants must demonstrate proof of their academic studies in the last five years. Health care prior experience is a benefit but isn’t required.

If your primary language isn’t English, We’ll need proof that you have English ability to communicate. The minimum requirements are IELTS scores of 7.0 overall, with a minimum of 7.0 in writing, 7.0 in reading, 7.0 in listening, and 7.0 in speaking. Interviews

In addition to fulfilling the specified academic requirements, Shortlisted candidates are required to participate in an interview online (Subject to the current guidelines of the government) Guidelines) in the selection process to ensure that their values are in line with that of the NHS Constitution.

Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL)

Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) can be a chance for students to earn credits for previous work. This means you don’t have to replicate your previous learning and ensure that students have achieved the appropriate outcomes for their award.

It is possible to be considered eligible for APL If you’ve completed one of the following programs within the last five years. Refer to our Credit Accumulation Pages for more information.

  • FDSc nursing associate with accreditation from NMC (Apprenticeship and UCAS entrance route)
  • FDSc Assistant Practitioner (Apprenticeship or Direct entry route)
