What Is an Arkwright Scholarship

The Arkwright Engineering Award is one of the most highly regarded scholarships of its kind in the UK. It is intended to motivate students to follow their dreams and make a difference in the world as an engineer of the future.

The Scholarships are granted to hardworking 16-year-old students after a rigorous selection process. They can help students through their A-levels, Scottish Highers, or equivalent qualifications.

Each Scholarship is funded by a commercial business or trade association, a university professional institution, armed service, government agency or a religious company, charity trust, or a personal donor.

This means that the support can be provided in various ways, including invaluable hands-on experience, support for your academic project, and a tutor who will assist you with certain aspects of your career and studies.
